Mendeley: a brief demonstration

This Mendeley demo is for up to 10 people on a first-come-first-served basis. There is no need to book but you should arrive in good time to avoid disappointment. UCL staff and students and UCLH staff are welcome to attend but please note that the demo uses search sources and citation styles relevant to a neurology setting.

Mendeley is a freely available application that allows you to collect and organise reference information and to cite references in a Word document using a range of citation styles (e.g. Harvard style). It is useful for those writing essays, papers and dissertations. This session offers a short demo, covering how to set up a basic library, to collect items using online databases, and to organise citations in a Word document.

Please note: this short demo does not offer hands-on practice or time to explore complex queries. For more in-depth training please book a place on one of our full Mendeley courses.
