Introduction to EndNote: demonstration (Mac) Online
EndNote allows you to collect and organise reference information and to cite references in a Word document using a range of citation styles (e.g. Harvard style). It is useful for those writing essays, papers and dissertations. This live online session offers a short demonstration, covering how to set up a basic library, to collect items using online databases, and to organise citations in a Word document. Staff and students of UCL have access to EndNote software via Desktop@UCL or by downloading from the UCL software database.
EndNote is available for Windows or Mac, and as an online version. This demonstration uses EndNote for Mac, version X9. The software functions in a very similar way for Windows users and therefore, you will be able to apply what you have learned. However, please note, we may not be able to address PC-specific questions.
Please note: this short demonstration does not offer hands-on practice or time to explore complex queries. Please contact us for complex enquiries.
