Introduction to NICE Evidence Search and Trip: demonstration Online
Nice Evidence Search and Trip are two freely available health information portals for searching simultaneously thousands of high-quality sources. Nice Evidence Search contains authoritative health and social care evidence and best practice, including guidelines, care pathways, systematic reviews and medicines information. Trip searches across a variety of sources of medical information, including online journals, images, videos, patient information leaflets, educational courses and news, and is designed to allow clinicians to quickly and easily find research evidence to support their practice.
This live online session, aimed at both NHS staff and UCL staff and students, offers a short demonstration, covering how to construct an effective search, to conduct a search using the Basic and Advanced options, to apply Limits, to access full text, to save and export results in various formats, including to bibliographic reference management tools.
Please note although this short demonstration does not offer hands-on practice or time to explore complex search queries, there will be opportunity to ask questions. Please contact us for any enquiries.
