Introduction to EndNote reference management software for GOSH staff: demonstration Online
EndNote allows you to collect and organise reference information and to cite references in a Word document using a range of citation styles (e.g. Vancouver or Harvard). It is useful for those writing papers, book chapters, or guidelines. It is also useful for other academic work, such as writing essays or dissertations. This live online session offers a short demonstration, covering how to set up a basic library, how to collect and manage references and full-text documents, and how to organise citations and reference lists in a Word document.
GOSH staff can install EndNote software on a personal computer, and/or get it installed on a GOSH computer free-of-charge.
EndNote is available for Windows or Mac, and as an online version. This demonstration uses EndNote Desktop for Windows, version X9. The software functions in a very similar way for Mac users and, therefore, you will be able to apply what you have learned.
These sessions are for Great Ormond Street Hospital staff only.
Please note: this short demonstration does not offer hands-on practice or time to explore complex queries. Please contact us for complex enquiries.
This session is being delivered using Zoom. Please see joining instructions.
