Introduction to the Library and to literature searching for GOSH staff Online

Did you know that GOSH staff can join the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health Library to get access to a range of information resources and search tools?

This session will provide an overview of the library’s services, facilities and resources. You will find out how to access resources remotely online, as well as finding out what is available to you by visiting us, or any of UCL’s other libraries, in person.

The session will also include a brief introduction to literature searching. You will find out which literature databases and other search tools are available to you; you’ll be given some tips for effective searching; and you’ll find out how to access the full-text of the publications that you find.

These sessions are for Great Ormond Street Hospital staff only.

Please note: this session does not offer hands-on practice, or time to explore complex queries. Please contact us directly for complex enquiries.

This session is being delivered using Zoom. Please see joining instructions.
