Introduction to Finding Research Literature Online

This live online session will develop your skills in finding scholarly literature for assignments, dissertations or theses, going beyond Explore into the world of bibliographic databases for conducting thorough research on a topic. By the end of the session, you’ll be able to construct an effective search strategy using common techniques and apply it to searching appropriate databases to find relevant research material. The principles covered will be applicable to all subject areas* and all students new to bibliographic databases.
